People Helping People
Founded in 2003, the United Heritage Charity Foundation was developed as a 501(c)(3) to support projects and organizations within local communities. Benefiting local charities, including organizations focused on family support services, healthcare, education initiatives as well as military and veteran assistance efforts, the Charity Foundation's top priority is contributing to deserving organizations that positively impact Central and East Texas to make a difference in people’s lives. United Heritage Charity Foundation epitomizes the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People," which is why each year we work with organizations who are striving to make our communities a better place to live, work and attend school.H. Heroes Night Out
United Heritage Credit Union and its Charity Foundation are proud to share that we are partnering with Heroes Night Out to support local military service members and their families. Ahead of the holiday, the organization, the local community, and United Heritage came together to help fulfill 28 families' wish lists for their children as a surprise on Christmas. Additionally, we donated gift cards to each family to purchase essential items during this season. United Heritage’s contributions totaled $12,000 towards Heroes Night Out’s Christmas initiative. The organization is 100% donation-based and relies on volunteers to help support their initiatives and events that provide resources and service to military families.
